Day 1 FRI


On arrival, take KAL airport shuttle bus to your hotel (purchase bus ticket $18 at KAL shuttle bus service kiosk which is located on arrival hall). It takes about 1 hour travelling time from Incheon Airport to Seoul city center. KAL bus will stop at your hotel front door.

Day 2 SAT

Seoul – Gongju – Daejeon

Tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at around 0800am and leave for Gongju, the capital of ancient Baekji Kingdom. Visit Gongsanseong Fortress , tomb of Muryeong King and Magoksa Temple. Gongsanseong Fortress is a mountain castle which was established during the Baekje Period (234‐678). Leave for Daejeon, one of the 5 major cities in Korea and famous for its hot spring. After check‐ in hotel enjoy the indoor hot spring bath. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Lunch: Korean Set Menu with steamed rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf

Dinner: Chopped noodle dish 'Kalguksu' and Dumplings

Day 3 SUN

Daejeon – Jeonju – Jinan – Gwangju

After breakfast, move to Jeonju (Approx 1 hour 40min), home of Korean culture and tradition. Visit Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeonju Hanok Village is a traditional Korean town with about 700 preserved traditional houses. You can leisurely stroll on the block of hundreds of elegant wooden Korean homes, some of the Hanok have been transformed as guesthouse, museum, galleries and tea house. After Jeonju Bibimbap lunch move to Jinan (Approx 50 min), visit Tapsa Temple and the Stone Pagodas of Mt. Maisan. Tapsa Temple has 80 large stone pagodas that were built by Gapyong Lee for world peace at 100 years ago. Move to Gwangju (Approx 2 hours).

Lunch: Jeonju Bibimbap & Tteokgalbi

Dinner: Vietnamese Style Beef Shabu Shabu

Day 4 MON

Gwangju – Boseong – Suncheon – Yeosu

After breakfast, move to Boseong (Approx 1 hour 10 min), Visit Boseong Green Tea Plantation. You will see the tea bushes blanket and the landscape like a soft green carpet and a landscape spreads across rolling green fields in the morning. The endless fields of green tea will calm your mind. Then proceed to Suncheon, visit Naganeupseong Folk Village – it’s located inside the castle. Usually, village was established outside the castle, but due to prevent the enemies attacks, this castle was built around the village. Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park is one of the World’s top 5 wet‐lands. You can hike 40min to get to the top of the Yongsan observatory where you can see the beautiful reeds. Visit Eco‐Museum in Suncheon. Move to Yeosu (Approx 1 hour).

Lunch: Tteokgalbi Set meal or Dried Corvina Set meal

Dinner: Pizza or spaghetti

Day 5 TUE

Yeosu – Jinju – Busan

After breakfast, take Yeosu Marine Cable Car and have panorama view of Downtown Yeosu and the old seaport.  Move to Jinju (Approx 1 hour 30 min) and lunch will be at the local restaurant in Jinju. After lunch, visit Jinjuseong Fortess– the place where Korea and Japan had a fierce battle at 400 years ago. The Castle is located on the cliff and you can see the beauty of nature and harmonious architecture over Namgang River. Move to Busan, the largest city and the largest port in S. Korea (Approx 2 hours). Visit Igidae Park, the costal trail is beautiful with fantastic views of Haeundae and Gwangan Bridge, relax and fresh air from the ocean. This evening will be your own leisure to hang-out at cafés and pubs at the famous Haeundae Beach.

Lunch: Bulgoggi stew & Jinju Bibimbap

Day 6 WED

Busan – Ulsan – Gyeongju

After breakfast, Move to Ulsan (Approx 1 hour 30min) visit Daewangam Park - there are huge boulders of rock formations. Then proceed to Gyeongju (Approx 45 min) which is the capital city of Silla for 1000 years. It is also called the museum without walls that many national treasures are preserved in here. After lunch, visit Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site) – is the axis of Silla Buddhism. There are many national treasure like Dabotap Pagoda and Seokgatop Pagoda in the temple. Visit Gyeongju National Museum, Tumuli Park and Cheomseongdae Observatory, here you will see the whole Silla Millennium history and culture.

Day 7 THU

Daegu – Andong – Wonju – Pyeongchang

After breakfast, move to Andong, visit Andong Hahoe Village (UNESCO World Heritage site) has become widely known as a must see place after Queen Elizabeth and George W. Bush’s visit. Proceed to Wonju (Approx 2 hour), visit Hanji Theme Park and take an experience of making Hanji (Traditional Korean Paper) or Hanji craft. The Park provides a look onto the process of making Hanji, from cultivation to procession. Move to Pyeongchang ‐ the venue of 2018 Winter Olympics (Approx 1 hour 30 min).

Hotel: Intercontinental or similar hotel in Pyeongchang

Lunch: Braised chicken with vegetables & roasted fish

Dinner: Korean Style Pork Belly, Samgyeopsal

Day 8 FRI

Pyeongchang – Gangneung - Mt. Seorak – Seoul

After breakfast, move to Gangneung (Approx 50min), visit Jumunjin Fish Market – you will see the vivid life of local people such as the fisherman bringing in their catch and retailers haggling over the fresh fish. Proceed to Yangyang.  (Approx 40min), visit the Southern part of Mt. Seoraksan National Park, take short hiking at Jujeongol Valley. As you hike along this delightful path you encounter Seonnyeotang Pond, Dokjuam Rock, and Yongso Falls. The path is relatively smooth and can be enjoyed by hikers of all abilities. Then return to Seoul (Approx 4 hours) and arrive in Seoul around 1800pm. Your tour bus will drop you off at Lotte Hotel Myeong Dong, T-Mark Grand or Center Mark Hotel. You need to make your own transportation to your hotel in down‐town. It takes about 10 minutes taxi drive and taxi fare is around US$10.

Day 9 SAT


After check-out hotel, leave airport for departure by KAL Airport Shuttle service. Your bus will stop in front of your hotel entrance (purchase your bus ticket $18 per person with bus driver).
